Tracy Hines’s USAC Silver Crown Series presented by K&N Engineering victory last Friday at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Florida put him atop the point standings, as the New Castle, Ind. driver led the final four laps to score his fourth victory in his last seven starts.
Hines, driving for A. J. Foyt Enterprises, led a 1-2 sweep for Foyt’s team, as he and Pablo Donoso crossed the stripe ahead of third-place finisher Cameron Dodson. All three drivers are expected to return to action May 5 at Iowa Speedway for the “Casey’s General Store USAC Triple Crown. ”
