Johnny Bridges stormed to American Sprint Car Series Southern Tour victory lane in Saturday night’s 30-lap feature at Laurens County Speedway, the “Darlington of Dirt Tracks”.
Bridges took the lead from the outset and paced the field all the way to score his third career series victory aboard the C&B Mushrooms No. 07 J&J.
Florida’s Matt Tiffany made a lap 27 pass of Brian Smith to snare runner-up honors, with Smith settling for third in front of defending series champion Coby Adams and David Adkins.
Brandon McLain took a wild ride out of the park 20 laps into the feature, with Scott Young also getting upside down earlier in the event. There were no injuries.
