Scheduling conflicts have forced cancellation of the July 4 “Wednesday Night Thunder” racing program at the Mount Lawn Speedway in New Castle, Ind.
In related news, NASCAR star Ken Schrader will return to compete in the July 11 “Wednesday Night Thunder” USAC program at the Plymouth (Ind. ) Speedway. Rains forced postponement of the June 27 Plymouth events and the July 11 events replace those originally scheduled at Mount Lawn Speedway in New Castle, Ind.
The “Thunder” events are presented by the Richard Petty Driving Experience and offer points toward the 2007 Adam Petty Trophy. Schrader was slated to compete at Plymouth June 27 and will compete in the July 11 Regional Midget portion of the “tripleheader” also featuring the Kenyon and Indiana Ford Focus Midgets.
