Lernerville Speedway To Host The World Of Outlaws Sprint Car Series For The Last Time World Of Outlaws

CONCORD, N.C. — When the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series invades Lernerville Speedway on Tuesday night for the $40,000-to-win Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup, it will mark the final time the series will compete in that region this season.

Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio — only 80 miles from Lernerville — has decided to cancel its previously announced Sept. 20 event, making Tuesday night’s huge “Month of Money” event the final chance in 2008 that fans in Northeastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania will be able to see “The Greatest Show on Dirt” close to home.

The World of Outlaws Late Model Series will return to Sharon Speedway during the Alltel Ohio Speedweek before completing the rain-delayed $40,000-to-win Firecracker 100 on at Lernerville Speedway.
