Maeschen Snares Career's First ASCS Feature Win at Crawford County

Bronson Maeschen snared his first career American Sprint Car Series feature win by topping Friday night’s 25-lap Midwest vs. Northern Plains Regional Challenge feature atop the 5/8-mile Crawford County Speedway.

After sliding up to the first starting position after scheduled pole starter Kaley Gharst coasted to a stop with race-ending woes on the pace lap, Maeschen gunned into the lead at the outset and led all the way to claim the victory.

Maeschen was chased to the line by Jack Dover, who took advantage of a late caution that set up a green-white-checkered run to take runner-up honors away from Rager Phillips.  Phillips settled for show honors with Chad Meyer in fourth.

Jason Danley, also atop the ASCS Midwest point charts, put the clamps on the ASCS Northern Plains title by rounding out the top five, with 13th-starter Brad Foster, Ryan Anderson, Chad Humston, Dave Glennon and Casey Friedrichsen completing the top ten.

Phillips and Dover topped Friday night’s heat races.
