Spring has officially sprung and along with it comes the traditional travel-heavy schedule of the World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Series. For Paul McMahan and the No. 20 Tony Stewart Racing (TSR)/Bass Pro Shops/Eagle team, this week’s five-race schedule is a welcome opportunity to post their first victory of the season.
First on the docket is a single-day event at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pa., today. McMahan will make his first appearance at the 4/10-mile oval since July 19, 2005, when he earned a 12th-place A-main finish.
The WoO Sprint Series moves on to Williams Grove Speedway for a two-day event Thursday and Friday. In McMahan’s last appearance at the track on Sept. 30, 2006, he finished 13th in the A-main event.
