For the third year in a row, Tony Stewart’s Eldora Speedway in Rossburg has thrown its support behind the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame with its museum-benefit auction during the storied half-mile’s 24th annual Kings Royal by Crown Royal sprint car event on Saturday, July 14. The auction will take place from 3:30 until 5:30 p. m. inside the Multi-Purpose Building on the north side of the track grounds.
According to museum marketing director Craig Agan, “We are thrilled to again partner with Tony Stewart, Larry Boos, Larry Kemp and their great staff at the Eldora Speedway and to be a part of the festivities during the prestigious Kings Royal by Crown Royal speed week. We will auction special racing memorabilia, die-casts, artwork, and photos, many of which will be signed by some of the biggest names in motorsports. This auction is one of only six that we will conduct in 2007, including the others at the Tulsa Chili Bowl Midget Nationals, Skagit’s Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup, the Knoxville Nationals, the Williams Grove National Open (in conjunction with the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing), and the Knoxville Late Model Nationals. ”
