NCRA Sprinters Open Season at Nebraska Raceway Park



The O Reilly NCRA Sprint Car Series, presented by ICM/Ethanol, opens its 2007 season April 14 at Nebraska Raceway Park. Heading the charge into the new campaign is two-time defending series champion Garry Lee Maier.

Maier, of Cimarron, Kan., is the fourth driver to win back-to-back titles. Last year he matched the efforts of Dennis Park (1996-97), Jon Johnson (1998-99), and the late Steve King (2002-03). In the 17-year history of the series, no one has won three straight championships.
