Chris Rahe of Placentia, Calif. hopes to extend his 2007 USAC Western Midget Car Series point lead when the series returns to the Ventura (Calif. ) Raceway Saturday night.

One of Rahe s two 2006 victories came at the Ventura oval, and he holds only a 13-point lead over Danny Stratton, who is the series most recent winner, taking a March 24 race at Bakersfield, Calif.
