Former modified driver Marc Robe surprised many people in his first season piloting a sprint car. He finished sixth in the standings and captured the NCRA Sprint Car Series Rookie of the Year award.
2000 series champion C. J. Johnson returns with a new ride. He’ll be behind the wheel of one of Jason Johnson’s racecars, serviced by King Racing out of Jetmore, Kan.
Oklahoma City’s Andy Shouse hasn’t run with the series since he was rookie of the year in 2000, but he’s running the full schedule this season.
Speaking of Jason Johnson, the Louisiana native plans to run a limited NCRA schedule this year. The Rajun Cajun should make at least half of the 14 shows from his shop in Greenville, Texas.
The series opens its 2007 season April 14 at Nebraska Raceway Park in Greenwood, Neb.
