Severe Weather Postpones NCRA Sprint Car Event



Severe weather in Western Kansas forced the cancellation of last weekend’s show in the O’Reilly NCRA Sprint Car Series, presented by ICM/Ethanol, at Dodge City Raceway Park.

Local safety personnel were not available on race night. A devastating tornado destroyed the small Kansas town of Greensburg, located 45 miles east of Dodge City, a few days earlier. With all extra safety personnel helping in Greensburg and an unfavorable weather forecast, track promoter Brad Maxwell decided to move the race back one week to this Saturday, May 12.
