The 2007 USAC National Sprint Car Series is scheduled to debut Saturday and Sunday in Indiana, with 130 laps of feature-event competition on tap.
Saturday night s 30-lap race is on the 3/8-mile dirt Twin Cities Raceway Park in North Vernon is the opener, followed by Sunday afternoon s Banjo Corporation “Glen Niebel Classic” 100-lapper at the 1/4-mile paved Anderson Speedway. The USAC Kenyon Midget Cars share Sunday s Anderson program, with a 30-lap feature slated.
The Tony Stewart Racing Team, last year s National Sprint Car owner champions, are fielding two cars with drivers Tracy Hines and Levi Jones. Hines won the 2002 title and Jones was the 2005 king. Josh Wise was last year s driving champion.
