The Magilton Racing Team are the first to admit that they have had a tumultuous season of Sprintcar racing, but they have finished the season on a good note with an A-Main finish last Saturday night (March 24) at Warrnambool s Sungold Stadium-Premier Speedway in the final round of the Eureka Garages and Sheds Super Sprintcar Series.
All season has been an up hill battle for Dave The Ford Guy Magilton and his team, with some big wrecks and other unfortunate incidents making this season one to forget. However, to the popular teams credit, they have fought on through the tough times.
“It s been a hard season, no doubt, ” said crew chief Melissa Magilton. “It s hard to have confidence after the season we ve had, but I reckon it s great how we have fought on.
“Dave has battled hard and it was sensational to get a good result against a big field last Saturday, it was a good way to welcome the off-season, ” she added.
