The next weekend will be very loaded for Alain Bergeron and the drivers of the ‘Empire Super Sprints’ with three races in three evenings.

Friday evening, June 15, the ESS series and Alain Bergeron will be at Granby, while the next day evening, Saturday June 16, all will meet again at the Autodrome Drummond of Drummondville. Sunday evening, this will be Cornwall Motor Speedway, in Ontario, to welcome the drivers of the series.

Just recall that at the first race of the series championship, that took place at Utica-Rome Speedway, Alain Bergeron had been implied in an accident while a car in front of him had hit the wall to finish his ride on the 8B Sprint of the Saint-Pie driver. The car had important damages but the team had worked very strong and the Sprint is now ready for the weekend.

Recall

In 2007, Alain Bergeron is in his 8th season with the very competitive series, the Empire Super Sprints ( ESS).

In 2006, the Saint-Pie native was crowned the 2006 ESS tour champion after a very good 2005 year as he finished in fifth place in the point standing and he had been champion of the ‘Gater Racing News Lap Leader Award’

Bergeron was the first Canadian to win a Sprint Car race with the ESS in 2000. Sprint Cars are one of the most popular type of racing in the United Sates and at the end of the 2001 season, in his second year driving a Sprint Car, he had the most wins of any driver in the series with 3.

Racing with the ESS since only 6 years, Alain Bergeron is already in 18th position in the all-time winners list of the series. Throughout this season, we will inform you of his results and various news from Team Bergeron, while Alain will be on the road competing to the best of his abilities.

Alain Bergeron’s hometown is Saint-Pie-de-Bagot and he is a former champion in Mini-Sprint and ATV, both on dirt and ice surfaces.
