Gillette, WY —Tony Bruce Jr. will return to action on Thursday, August 14 with the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at Gillette Thunder Speedway in Gillette, Wyoming, after a vicious crash on Tuesday night in the finale of the Duel in the Dakotas at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, North Dakota.
The second-year driver from Liberal, Kansas who recently won his first Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series A-Feature event at 34 Raceway in Iowa was transported to a local hospital following the crash, where it was determined that he had sustained a concussion.
He was released from the hospital early on Wednesday morning and began the trip west to Gillette.
The event at Gillette Thunder Speedway will be his first trip to Wyoming to race as the 2008 Gold Rush Tour kicks into high gear for the World of Outlaws.
