Friday night, at Autodrome Edelweiss of Cantley QC, Bergeron was fifth on the starting grid, for the A-Main, and he finished in second place. The Canadian driver made a last attempt to take the first place, but without success. The evening had begun well with a win in his heat race as he started from the sixth position. He got the fifth place in DASH.
Yesterday evening, Saturday, at Brockville ON, Bergeron was racing with the drivers of the ASCS Patriots series. The evening began well with a win in his heat race. For the A-Main, the Canadian driver was sixth on the starting grid and with some laps remaining, found himself into the lead. Unfortunately, the car had lost adherence since some laps and he had to give away two spots. It is in third place that Bergeron passed the checker for another top 3 in two days. These are very good results and Bergeron can be proud of his performance.
In 2009, Alain Bergeron is in his 10th season at the wheel of a full Sprint Car. Those racing machines are among the fastest in the world.
In 2006, the Saint-Pie native was crowned the 2006 ESS tour champion after a very good 2005 year as he finished in fifth place in the point standing and he had been champion of the ‘Gater Racing News Lap Leader Award’
Bergeron was the first Canadian to win a Sprint Car race with
the ESS in 2000. Sprint Cars are one of the most popular type of racing in the United Sates and at the end of the 2001 season, in his second year driving a Sprint Car, he had the most wins of any driver in the series with 3.
Racing with the ESS since only 6 years, Alain Bergeron is already in 18th position in the all-time winners list of the series. Throughout this season, we will inform you of his results and

Alain Bergeron’s hometown is Saint-Pie-de-Bagot and he is a former champion in Mini-Sprint and ATV, both on dirt and ice surfaces.
