• FAST QUALIFIER: Steve Kinser paced the 42 cars that took time with an AMB i.t. timed lap around the high-banked 1/3-mile oval at 10.209 seconds at 117.426 mph. For his qualifying effort, Kinser earned five bonus points. The next four fastest qualifiers also earned bonus points, including: Jason Meyers (4), Joey Saldana (3), Daryn Pittman (2), and Tim Kaeding (1).
• QUALIFYING WINNERS: Sammy Swindell, Danny Smith, Donny Schatz and Stevie Smith won heat races. Craig Dollansky won the Crane Cams Dash. Greg Wilson won the B-Main. Daron Clayton won the C-Main.
