Donny Schatz used a fourth-place finish on Saturday night at Perris Auto Speedway to extend his lead in the World of Outlaws championship standings to 115 points, as he closes in on his second consecutive series title. He has 69 Top-10 finishes in the 73 A-Feature events that have been contested this season.
Joey Saldana finished eighth at Perris to earn his 65th Top-10 finish of the season. He remains second in points, with just the inaugural Outlaws World Finals at The Dirt Track @ Lowe’s Motor Speedway, November 1-3 remaining on the 2007 schedule.
Danny Lasoski finished second on Saturday night at Perris Auto Speedway, after winning at Manzanita Speedway on Friday night to remain third in points.
Daryn Pittman finished 10th on Saturday night to pick up his 50th Top-10 finish of the season. He remains fourth in championship points, 65 markers out of third.
Jason Meyers earned his 47th Top-10 finish of the season on Saturday night to remain fifth in points and in the process closed to within 15 points of Pittman.
Steve Kinser is sixth in points, with Craig Dollansky seventh and Paul McMahan eighth.
Jason Solwold used a third-place finish at Perris Auto Speedway to move back into the ninth position, four points ahead of Tim Shaffer.
Kerry Madsen who won on Saturday night, continues to hold a commanding lead in the Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year Award standings.
