COT Testing Continues At Richmond International Raceway



Two races down, the future to go.

Call it an unofficial theme for this week s latest Car of Tomorrow test, being held Tuesday and Wednesday at Richmond International Raceway. The “COT” was used in competition for the first time the last two weeks at the Bristol and Martinsville short tracks. Next up for the COT: Phoenix International Raceway on April 21.

Fifty NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series teams are at Richmond for this week s test, preparing for next month s “Crown Royal Presents the Jim Stewart 400” at the. 75-mile oval. That event will be the fourth one featuring NASCAR s next-generation race car.
