NASCAR legend and ten-time Darlington Raceway winner David Pearson stopped by the historic track recently to check out the progress of the track repaving and tunnel construction projects. Track Vice President and General Manager Mac Josey shows Pearson the ‘hole’ in turn three which will shortly become the new tunnel into the infield. Track repaving will begin immediately after the tunnel is completed.
