Darnell on racing at Michigan International Speedway:
“Michigan is one of my favorite places to race. It’s fast, wide, and there are lots of passing opportunities. We ran decent here last year, but struggled at Fontana earlier this year. We’ve had a really tough year so far. You always want to run well at Michigan with Ford’s headquarters there, hopefully we can get a good finish for them and Northern Tool + Equipment this week. ”
Crew Chief John Quinn on racing at Michigan International Speedway:
“Michigan is a wide, fast racetrack. We ran decent there last year and we really need a good run this week to get things going again. Qualifying is important there, you need to put the truck towards the front on the start to make sure that you stay there for the race, because you tend to have a lot of green flag runs. You don’t want to be towards the back of the field stuck in traffic. ”
