Justin Lloyd had “half the truck knocked off” in a second-lap pileup at Caraway Speedway Saturday night. In spite of the Turn One crash, he managed to drive through the field to a sixth- place finish in the first race of a double-header for Late Model Super Trucks.
“The whole track was blocked, so I couldn’t do anything, ” explained the young racer. “I locked the brakes but the guy behind me hit me and tore off half the bumper and bent up the spoiler. ”
Stopping to repair the damage dropped Lloyd to the back of the field but he avoided several more crashes and moved his way up to sixth at the finish.
