NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series driver Kasey Kahne is coming to town, just a few weeks before the entire NASCAR circus returns to Dover International Speedway for the Sept. 21-23, 2007 race weekend.
Kahne will visit Dover International Speedway on Sept. 5, 2007 and will sign autographs from 2 to 3 p. m. at the Dover ticket office for fans who purchase race tickets for the Sept. 21-23, 2007 NASCAR tripleheader weekend at the Monster Mile. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for this special session, and autographs will only be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Kahne, driver of the No. 9 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge, has collected two top-10 finishes and one pole position through 23 races in the 2007 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series season. The Enumclaw, Wash. native started fourth in the “Autism Speaks 400 presented by Visa” at Dover International Speedway on June 4, 2007 and finished 11th after leading a season-high 28 laps.
Kahne has gained immense popularity since being named the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Raybestos Rookie of the Year in 2004. Kahne has tallied seven career wins and 13 career poles since first entering the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series with Gillett Evernham Motorsports.
Kahne’s appearance time is limited to one hour and only Sept. 21, 22 or 23 ticket buyers will be eligible. Autographs will be limited to one per ticket buying customer. The Dover ticket office is located near Gate 11 at the Speedway.
