DAVID GILLILAND – No. 38 M&M’s Ford Fusion (Finished 28th) – “I don’t know. It’s a shame for our M&M’s Ford Fusion. We had Shrek on the hood this weekend and had a great car. We were good in practice, had a good qualifying run and we were looking forward to a good, solid night tonight. It looked like I think the 42 car just got in there – it was the first corner and he just got in the back of us and turned us. It’s a shame. We had a great car, but we’ll take it for what it is and I’m looking forward to coming back here to Charlotte. We have a good car and I think we’ve got a better one to bring back for the 600, so that’s where our focus is now. ”
IT MUST BE MORE DISAPPOINTING NOT TO GET 40 LAPS IN TONIGHT AT LEAST FOR A TEST SESSION:
“Yeah, our M&M’s Ford Fusion was good and we just didn’t get to show it tonight. It was nothing we did as a team or nothing I did as a driver, it’s just the way this sport is. There are so many things that can happen that are out of your control. Juan Pablo just got in there a little too hard, I think, and caused a big accident. I’ve never been in these kind of races before and I guess that’s just maybe the way it is. ”
