Airwaves Ducati head to Oulton Park this weekend for round four of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship. With Gregorio Lavilla leading the championship and team mate Leon Haslam in 5th place it will be another exciting weekend of BSB action.
This is the first of two visits to the technically challenging 2.692 mile Cheshire track this season. Last year Airwaves Ducati achieved 6 podium finishes in their two trips there, including a double win by Gregorio Lavilla.
Gregorio Lavilla has a 32 point advantage over his rivals in the championship, having won the first four races of 2007 and a 5th and 2nd position at Silverstone. Although he insists that he is not thinking about the title chase yet, “I am not too worried about points at this stage; it is too early to think about the championship like that. I am focusing on performing well in each race and being pleased with my own performance.
