Rob McElnea is confident his expanded three-strong line-up is capable of challenging for this year’s British Superbike Championship as the team enters the new season having never ‘had so much to look forward to’.
Furthermore, the team has put in an extensive programme of testing during the winter, while the decision to conduct their running separate from their rivals ensures means they are expected to spring a surprise at Brands Hatch.
Indeed, McElnea insists the Rob Mac Racing team is in a good position to fight it out at the front in 2009.
“We have worked hard for many years to get to this position and a really hope the final bit of luck needed comes our way.”
