Rizla Suzuki Team Manager Simon Buckmaster said: “There’s no denying Rizla Suzuki has struggled to match the pace of the front runners in the opening two rounds, but we are looking for a turnaround in fortunes at Silverstone.
“More rear end grip, feel and conservation of tyre are what we need and the new link Cal tried at the Oulton Park test appears to have delivered improvements. That and a host of other minor improvements we found during the test should help us compete at the sharp end this weekend.
“Silverstone is a home round for Cal and he will benefit from a lot of local support. Chris should also be on top form as he knows the track well. We desperately want good results for all our fans and sponsors and will be doing our best to deliver. “
Superbike racing starts at 1240 on Sunday, April 29th.
