Team Suzuki s Guillaume Dietrich stormed to a two-second victory aboard his new GSX-R100K7 at the opening round of the French Superbike Championship at the weekend.

The World Endurance rider said: “I knew I could have a good result from the very beginning of the Championship in Le Mans, but having the best lap on qualifying and winning the race exceeds my expectations. The Suzuki GSX-R1000 had very good settings for the race, even if I only tried it for the first time last Friday and it is very similar to the GSX-R1000 we use for the World Endurance Championship.
