Makoto Tamada admits he is well on the mend after his recent practice crash and is determined to build on his points-scoring efforts last time out as the FIM Superbike World Championship prepares to move on to the fourth round in Assen next weekend.

“There were some setbacks due to my injury during the Valencia races, but I am recovering fast and happy with my progress,” Tamada revealed.
“I don’t feel that I have been able to show anywhere near my full potential this season yet, but I am confident that I will do in the near future.”
