Race two featured a tremendous three-way fight between Troy, Haga and Biaggi which went all the way down to the the wire. Even on the last lap Troy had a slim chance of victory if either of the two ahead made a mistake. It was Biaggi who made the mistake, but it was Troy s team mate Haga who was best-placed to take advantage and then run out the winner by a tenth of a second.

Well, I m happy, but I m also a little disappointed because I felt I could win here today. But hats off to Nori for giving Yamaha its first win of the year anyway. I feel that the hard work I ve done developing the bike is beginning to pay off and I felt pretty comfortable out there today. I got a bit caught up at the start of the first race and had to fight my way into contention lap by lap. At the end, I was closing in on James (Toseland), but I m not sure if I could ve got past him, even if the race went on for two or three laps more.
In the second race, my tyre started spinning quite early on and all I could do was just hang in there and hope for mistakes by the front two. But it didn t happen and I took third instead. But to come away from Donington Park with two podiums is pretty good I think, and it is a good platform for the next race in Valencia. See ya.
