The Pirtek Rally Team has joined with Altegra Pit Tents to supply all the team s marquee requirements for the 2007 NEC Australian Rally Championship.
For the Pirtek Rally Team, Altegra supplies the marquees for the two rally cars of Michael Guest/Mark Stacey and Darren Windus/Jon Mortimer, the mechanic s supply area, the corporate kitchen and the corporate area itself.
Altegra is also supplying marquees for Fujitsu Racing (Jason Bright) and IRWIN Racing (Alan Gurr) in the V8 Supercar Championship Series.
Rallying requires the Pirtek Rally Team to set-up and pull-down its own service area at each event. Having quality marquees is essential to providing the best work environment for the crew as well as professional presentation.
Jason Bright, Team Principal for the Pirtek Rally Team, Fujitsu Racing and IRWIN Racing, is pleased to welcome Altegra to his organisation.
“We looked at a whole range of marquees for both of our programs and we were very impressed with Altegra, ” said Bright.
“Strength and quality was essential. As a team we were not prepared to put millions of dollars worth of racing equipment under just any marquee.
“The crew has been very impressed with the Altegra Pit Tents. At the end of the day they are the ones who have to make best use of them.
