In the high pressure world of V8 Supercar, nothing comes under more pressure than the Dunlop control tyres used in the category. Whether they are holding the cars off the ground at 300kph around Bathurst, or bouncing over kerbs during the Clipsal 500 - nothing gets more of a workout than the tyres. That said; marrying those tyres to the car becomes a very important key to a successful weekend at the track.
Charged with the job of fitting all of Team BOC s tyres is Cargo-ologist and Tyre Technician, Michael Tractor Walsh. When he isn t riding high in his Volvo Prime Mover, Michael is busy in the workshop preparing wheels and tyres for not only race meetings, but also test days.
