IRWIN Racing’s Alan Gurr will be out to open his 2007 V8 Supercar points account when the V8 Supercar Championship Series hits Perth Barbagallo Raceway on 23-25 March.
After finishing 23rd in the opening race of the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide, he was eliminated on the first lap of race #2 when he was the innocent victim of another driver’s accident.
Gurr is determined to mark Perth as the place to start 2007.
“We had plenty to be pleased about in Adelaide, but as Sunday’s incident showed anything can happen, ” said Gurr.
