V8 Supercar driver James Courtney put on a sizzling performance of the Salsa with dance partner Olya Bourtasova on Channel 7’s Dancing with the Stars last night.
The JELD-WEN Motorsport driver impressed the audience, but not so the judges, the pair receiving a score of only 23.
While acknowledging that Courtney had a very hectic schedule with the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 last week, the judges marked the pair down for the simplicity of the routine.
Despite the score, the Queensland-based couple made it through to the next round with the addition of the public vote. Corinne Grant and her partner Csaba Szirmai were eliminated from the show.
With the competition hotting up, James and Olya are calling on all motor sport fans to continue voting to keep them in the race…
