Lincoln Electric is pleased to announce an official supplier partnership of welding equipment and consumables with Britek Motorsport.
Britek Motorsport is running Jason Bright in the Fujitsu Racing Ford and Alan Gurr in the IRWIN Racing Falcon in the V8 Supercar Championship Series, as well as Michael Guest and Darren Windus in the Pirtek Rally Team Ford Fiestas in the NEC Australian Rally Championship.
“Our business has grown at a great pace over the last 12 months and our requirement for quality equipment has increased, ” said Jason Bright.
“I have plenty of experience with welding equipment and there was no doubt that we needed a partnership that would improve performance without compromising safety.
“Lincoln Electric recognised this was also important and I’m delighted with the range of equipment they have provided Britek Motorsport. “
Lincoln Electric might be a new name with Britek Motorsport, but it has plenty of experience in the world of motor racing.

“The partnership with Lincoln Electric is a three-year deal, ” said Treloar.
“Lincoln Electric is supplying the team with Plasma cutters and welders as well as all related consumables and equipment, for both the V8 Supercar and rally teams. “
Fabrication Manager for Britek Motorsport Richy Vu-Duy welcomed the addition of Lincoln Electric.
“Our requirements for welding equipment and consumables are very high and specialised, ” said Vu-Duy.
“Lincoln Electric have taken on-board our input and provided us with exactly what we required.
“The fabrication team here at Britek Motorsport have used a wide range of different products over the years. The addition of the equipment from Lincoln Electric will improve the quality output from our department.
“Importantly for our department, we have improved quality as well as safety. ”
