Price finishes Race One in 24th position
A solid performance during the opening Race of the weekend at New Zealand’s Pukekhoe Park Raceway has netted Jack Daniel’s Racing driver Shane Price 24th position.
Price, who is the lone driver for Jack Daniel’s Racing after team mate Jack Perkins damaged his car beyond repair during yesterday’s practice session, qualified strongly this morning but remained confident that he had more speed up his sleeve on the fast and flowing Pukekhoe circuit.
The track, based just 20 kilometres South of New Zealand’s capital Auckland, is the fastest circuit teams visit during the season and presents a number of unique challenges for drivers.
