Stone Brothers Racing is looking to step up another gear at this weekend’s BigPond 400 at Barbagallo Raceway in Western Australia, following on from an exceptional team performance at the Clipsal 500 Adelaide three weeks ago.
The three-time championship team is out to grab race wins at round two of the V8 Supercar Championship, and their recent form at the South Australian street race suggests that they have the weapons to do so.
JELD-WEN Motorsport’s James Courtney and Caltex Racing’s Russell Ingall finished third and fourth respectively in the Clipsal 500, coming away with the strongest team performance of the event. The return to form was kicked off by Courtney’s stunning V8 Supercar career-first pole position on the Friday.
