Team BOC will once again enjoy the hospitality of SKYCITY Darwin during Round Six of the V8 Supercar Championship Series at the Northern Territory’s Hidden Valley Raceway.

It’s the fourth year in a row that Team BOC has partnered with Darwin’s premier hotel and entertainment complex. SKYCITY also remains as the title sponsor of this weekend’s SKYCITY Triple Crown.

“We are extremely pleased to be once again supported by SKYCITY Darwin this weekend and to be staying at their wonderful facility, ” said Team BOC manager, Kim Jones.

“While it’s not as hot this year as it has been in the past, it’s still going to be wonderful to end the day in the relaxed atmosphere of SKYCITY Darwin, ” Jones added.

SKYCITY Darwin’s General Manager, Andrew Wilson added: “We’re delighted to host Team BOC at SKYCITY again this year, the fourth year in a row. It’s a privilege to have them staying with us. The high performance team behind Team BOC operates in a fast paced and exciting environment, providing an entertainment experience for thousands of fans each year. It’s a great fit with SKYCITY’s team who are also committed to providing fun and entertaining experiences. “

The SKYCITY Triple Crown starts Friday with practice for the weekend’s three race format.

Track Notes

Brad Jones arrived in Darwin a little early this year, making a detour to the mining town of Gove, 700 kilometres east of Darwin. Brad visited the local High School to discuss road safety, before meeting with BOC guests at the Gove Country Club.

Team BOC’s Andrew Jones will celebrate his 27th birthday at Hidden Valley this Sunday.

Simon Wills, driver of the #14 Team BOC Falcon, enjoys his visits to Darwin. He currently holds the outright lap record at Hidden Valley, with a 1.02:9268, set back in 2001 at the wheel of a Formula Holden.
