So far this season, V8 Supercar Championship leaders Rick Kelly, Garth Tander and the Toll HSV Dealer Team have been ticking the boxes at each round.
Kelly scored his first Clipsal 500 win in Round 1 on the VE Commodore’s debut in Adelaide, and Tander followed up by chalking up his first home-town victory with a three-race whitewash at Perth, leading Kelly home in the team’s first1-2.
And recently in New Zealand, the pair landed another 1-2 victory with a 78-points-all draw at Pukekohe, with the honours going to Kelly because he crossed the finish line first in the final race.
This weekend, the pair hope to maintain the team’s ground-breaking run by scoring their first win at Winton, in what they both believe could be the most competitive round to date.
