A difficult day has left the Albury based Team BOC again heading home from a round of the V8 Supercar Championship with no points from a very hard weekend in Perth.

After a difficult first race, where Brad and Andrew Jones finished 27th and 28th respectively, both Team BOC BF Falcons showed some good pace in the final race of the weekend.

Andrew powered through the race early, climbing from his starting position of 28th up to 21st by the compulsory pit stops. However the team were unlucky when the left rear wheel refused to come away from the car quickly during the compulsory pit stop, the time lost dropping him a couple of positions down the order after everyone had completed there stops. He was then caught out by the car of James Courtney blocking the circuit, Andrew just clipping the Courtney Falcon and spearing off the circuit at turn four. Little damage was done to the #12 car and he finished the race in 21st.

For Brad, chassis balance was again an issue in both races. In the third race of the weekend, a change to better tyres during the compulsory tyre stop helped improve his #14 Team BOC Falcon, however the tight nature of the Perth circuit hampered it progress forward, finishing in 26th.

The next round of the V8 Supercar Championship Series sees the teams head back across the nullabor and then across the tasman for the only New Zealand round of the championship from Friday April 20.
