“To sum up the weekend, I would have to say that on the whole, it has been quite disappointing. Qualifying was really bad and there were no excuses for that. From where we were in Adelaide to then be back down where we were yesterday was atrocious. I thought coming here, with what we know about the car, we would go reasonably well and in reality we ended up a long way from it. Our first race yesterday was ok, our second race this morning was again atrocious and for the third, we had some quite good tyres left so the car performed reasonably well. With all that said though, we have a lot of work to do before we head off to New Zealand and we are simply going to have to do it. ”

“I guess, for the weekend, it was the second race that gave us the most promise; the car was quite good. In that final race, the car was very unbalanced. It had quite bad push [understeer] particularly on the old used tyres. Once we put the new tyres on it was reasonably speedy and I could catch the guys in front, I just couldn’t get around them. It’s quite disappointing to finish the weekend in that way; I really thought in that second race today we were a chance to get some points. ”
