Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca CEO/General Manager Gill Campbell has been nominated for the Women of Distinction Award presented by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal as part of the weekly newspapers annual tribute to women leaders.
As criteria for nomination, the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal sought business women in the Silicon Valley area (defined roughly by the San Mateo bridge south to Carmel, and from the Pacific Ocean to the foothills east of San Jose) who were leaders in an established field or someone who defines conventional notions of success. Candidates are evaluated on the basis of their influence in their industries and in their communities.
