* Prokop and Vojtech compete for “OMV BIXXOL Rally Team CZ”

* Strong entry for the new family brand for OMV motor oils in premium quality

OMV, Central Europe’s leading crude oil and natural gas group, will compete with even two teams in the FIA Production Car-World Rally Championship 2007. OMV drivers from four countries will represent the OMV BIXXOL Rally Team. Martin Prokop and Stepan Vojtech will now also be on the hunt for points in this series for the OMV BIXXOL Rally Team CZ. Thus the implementation of the new family brand OMV BIXXOL – a new generation of premium motor oils for passenger cars and motorcycles – shall be reinforced.

Complete series for OMV drivers from the Czech Republic

The OMV BIXXOL Rally Team CZ will compete in Sweden, Mexico, Argentina, New Zealand, Ireland and Great Britain in the P-WRC. The kick-off in Sweden will be done by Martin Prokop and his co-driver Jan Tomanek, the further assignments will fall to Stepan Vojtech/Michal Ernst. Both will compete in the series with a Mitsubishi Evo IX.

Martin Prokop now wants to realise his experiences in the Junior-World Rally Championship in the series class, as well. He will be supported in this task by his co-driver Jan Tomanek, who has already completed the complete WRC with Roman Kresta in the Ford works team in 2005. The conception for the OMV BIXXOL Rally Team CZ was developed together with Stepan Vojtech. Vojtech: “Due to the FIA Regulation it is thus possible for both of us to score in the P-WRC and compete in a complete WRC-series. I am very happy that we accomplished that. My focus is now on the preparation for my first WRC assignment in Mexico. “
