TWO potential British world champions renewed their friendship at the Goodwood Festival of Speed at the weekend. The Stobart VK M-Sport Ford driver Matthew Wilson and Formula One’s new superstar Lewis Hamilton were Formula Renault team-mates. It was a great opportunity for the pair to compare notes with Hamilton giving Wilson a detailed lesson on the ground breaking technology in his McLaren F1 car. Wilson is Britain’s only full-time WRC driver, and with Hamilton at the top of his game in F1 it was great for the fans to see the two youngsters in action representing their nation.
