Holden hero Peter Floyd came out fighting with the fastest practice time when the Australian Performance Car Championship opened its 2007 season at Wakefield Park circuit, near Goulburn, today. Floyd, the 2005 champion, topped the timesheets after two practice sessions in his Holden HSV GTS, his margin of 0.69 seconds to second place suggesting he has adapted sooner to the introduction of a new Pirelli control tyre.
