Alan (Gustafson, crew chief) and the body shop have built some great cars. “ GONE FISHING: Kyle Busch, an avid fisherman, and his team members will join forces with Kellogg’s-sponsored pro anglers Clark Wendelandt and Dave Lefebre of the Wal-Mart FLW Outdoors Tour for a fishing excursion on Lake Norman near Charlotte, N.C., this week. Busch will learn the basics of bass fishing and spend some time with the media. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KYLE: Busch, the youngest race and pole position winner in NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series history, will turn 22 years old on Wednesday, May 2. Busch, who signed with Hendrick Motorsports at age 17, is in his third season of NEXTEL Cup competition. BEST TALLADEGA FINISH: Of the four NEXTEL Cup races Busch has competed in at Talladega (Ala. ) Superspeedway, his career-best start and finish there came last October with a sixth-place qualifying effort and an 11th-place result. Prior to that, his best showing was 32nd. BUSY MAY: The month of May is a busy one for Busch.
